It's Memorial Day Weekend. The weather forecast looks great. (We might even be able to leave our jackets on their hooks here in New England!) Our back yard is all spiffed up and ready for guests. Yup, it's definitely time to fire up that grill! What will you be grilling this weekend?

Definitely grilling this weekend! Anyone have a good recipes for a potato or macaroni salad that doesn't have mayo?
Looking forward to grilling up one of the best sandwiches ever:

I've served this to scores of people, and even salmon/fish haters love it. One of my summertime party standbys.
London Broil tonight, salmon and turkey burgers tomorrow and shrimp on Sunday; Monday hasn't been decided yet.
My dear, if one is cooking on that wood-fired Weber in the photo then one is BBQing, not grilling!
GraceF-- how about Italian pasta salad: rotini, assorted fresh veg (brocolli, cauli, carrot, grape tomatoes, celery, greek olives, sunflower seeds or pine nuts if you want) a little grated parm or crumbled feta, dressed in plenty of your favorite vinagrette or even a good bottled Italian in a pinch. Mix and let marinate for a good few hours for max flavor.
Potoato salad with a mustard vinagrette, diced red potatoes, crumbled bacon and blue cheese, celery, onion/shallot. Garnish with more bacon and sliced scallions.
BBQ chicken was cooked tonight, with bbq sauce recipe handed down from my grandma. Already purchased pork tenderloin (preparation tbd) and pork spare ribs to be grilled with that same bbq sauce!
Beer can chicken, black bean and mango salsa, grilled corn salad and grilled asparagus with a balsamic glaze.
Lots of beer, wine and other adult refreshments. Little tequila with sangrita for me.
Gonna be a great day!
Mmm. Well, we don't have outdoor space, so we just did a bistro night: mussels steamed in wine, green beans, and homemade fries. Tomorrow we're going to try the korean barbecue featured the other day, but the indoor version. Yay summer!
