I made David Lebovitz's watermelon sorbet last weekend and it was really refreshing and delicious.....especially with a little vodka added!
At a fourth party this weekend, I muddled a slice of watermelon, added some ice, gin and seltzer. Talk about DELICOUS!

These look great, but honestly, when I get a watermelon, I just want to eat it as is! It seems hard to actually improve upon the sweet, simple perfection of a watermelon. I could definitely see using the recipe for overripe/mushy watermelon, though, if the watermelon is past its sweet prime.
At a restaurant I recently had gazpacho w/ watermelon blended in and it was fantastic!!!!
