Wall of Plates as Kitchen (and Dining) Decoration

We really love this arrangement of plates — what a lovely, homey way to decorate a kitchen or a dining nook.

This particular plate wall is from a recent house tour at Apartment Therapy. Rachel and Alfred created a collection of plates here that sidesteps granny chic with its mix of patterns and playful designs, and its deliberately off-kilter arrangement. Love the window!!

I was about to say the same thing. Way less interested in the plates and much more on the pretty window!

My kitchen has a retro theme going on so the plates would be awesome... now I gotta start looking around for plates... another thing to add to my list of semi complete projects!! The window is awesome too!!

Beautiful. I wish I owned my flat so we could put that many holes in the wall. :)
