If you are getting a CSA box this summer, chances are that you're also getting a ton of salad greens right now! We love a good salad, and while we've already talked about romaine lettuce and arugula, we wanted to point out a few great references for salads worth eating. Over at eGullet Forums there is a very good introduction to leaf salads, with instructions and recommended equipment, and liberally illustrated with photos. It includes recipes like Chicory, Caramelized Apple, Salted Pecan and Beenleigh Blue Salad with Mustard and Honey Dressing, and simple instructions for basic herb and green salads and croutons.
