Unlike some of the state's neighboring wine trails, Westside Road feels undiscovered; it is still quiet, graceful and sublime. This is especially surprising considering the quality of wineries who claim it as an address. If you are in the mood for exquisite Pinot Noir, Gary Farrell, Rochioli & Porter Creek are some of the county's best. For something different, the Hop Kiln winery explodes with farming history, complete with its original facility and hundreds of old photographs! Zinfandel lovers will enjoy Rabbit Ridge winery, in fact on this road there's practically a winery for every palate. Not that it would matter; the beauty of the drive itself is enough to escape with.
The road ends at the quaint, charming town of Healdsburg. A bucolic location with boutique shops and delicious restaurants encompassing a magnificent town square shaded by Grandfather trees.
