It's Gluten-Free week at The Kitchn and we're having a great time suggesting and talking about gluten-free treats. We figured you're going to need something to serve these delicious sweet treats on, and we think we found the perfect modern cake stands.
Inspired by the shapes from Viking and Cambridge glass, these hand-pressed cake stands are seriously stunning and fun! We love the neon translucent color of these cake stands because it makes this traditional serving piece welcome in a modern world.
The Vaseline Cake Stands come in three different sizes; 6", 10" and 12" — a size for any sweet treat you're baking up in your kitchen. Display the cake stand on your counter even when you're not baking goodies!

Sorry, I know the color hhad its place in the past, but I find it nauseating.
sigh...i love fishs eddy. sadly I do not live in NY
I don't really want to put my cake on something that constantly reminds me of that goopy petroleum jelly that you smear on burns.
That said, I like the white model a lot; the transparent one doesn't really do it for me (perhaps because it looks more like Vaseline jelly), but I could see myself ignoring the awful name in order to have that on my countertop.
I love real vaseline glass, but the cool thing about it isn't the color itself. It's that the color comes from uranium in the glass. So when you shine a UV light on it, it glows.
I love fish's eddy, too. That store rocks, and my awesome husband ordered me one of their great initial diner mugs last Christmas after I ogled it in the store :)
I appreciate the cake stands, just not in that particular color. Strange choice.
