Those spoons are really gorgeous!
I ordered those measuring cups (probably based on another Kitchen post) and the corners of the handles have super sharp corners, not comfortable in the hand at all.
Those spoons are really beautiful. The Etsy seller does say that the coloured handle shouldn't come in contact with food though. With the colour going that close to the spoon bit I'd be afraid of getting cookie dough, pasta sauce etc. on the coloured part (hey, I'm a messy cook, what can I say?). I may need to buy them just to display though. Beautiful. Love the Avocado colour she has as well! The creamers are beautiful too.
I was thinking the same thing Michelou. I was about to grab the green ones but saw that warning.
I don't think I'd buy a boring colander and measuring spoons as a gift, but all the others are certainly cute!
Leslie, I have a set of steel measuring cups that are wonderfully heavy and soft at the edges. I've had them for ages, but they are made by AMCO, which is a readily available brand. I think I bought mine at a Barh and Beyond. They come in different styles -- mine has a more contoured handle rather rather than the flat one.
hey, anyone know where I can get some fake cheapest van shoes? I've been looking everywhere and can't seem to find them.
And, on a completely off-topic note, I love those whisks and the sleek looking scale. And the tea towels are practically a must =)
