Here's two poppin' fresh innovations from OXO: a storage container and a steamer.

We've been testing OXO's new POP Container. There's so much attention to detail in this canister: the pop top lid keeps every thing sealed tight (take that, humidity and pantry moths!), they stack on top of each other and fit next to each other for maximum storage, and the rounded edge makes for easy pouring.

They come in 11 different sizes and are priced well at $6.99 - $14.99. These container will be available in stores and on Oxo.com later this summer.

Ah-ha, other people do struggle with the steamer basket! Steamin' hot and jammed in the bottom of the pan, we wondered why steamer baskets couldn't have a longer handle. Then we found this new Pop-Up Steamer from OXO Good Grips with a longer handle -- but never fear, when steaming fish or something else that needs a wider space, the steamer handle twists off.

The pop-up handle telescopes down so it doesn't take up too much space and the whole gadget is dishwasher safe. While we haven't tested this one yet (have you?), it looks great and is available now for $14.95 on Amazon.com.
