One of my favorite ways to dress up vanilla ice cream is with a big spoonful of bright orange mango puree. Sold in big cans at Indian markets, the sweetened fruit sauce turns a simple scoop into a tropical sundae.My stepfather, who grew up in India, introduced this combination to me, and I have yet to find an ice cream topping I like better. It's simple enough to be a weekday treat, but unique and pretty enough to be served to guests as well. If you love mango, this dessert is a keeper.
