Tom's Deli on Westbourne Grove in London is a favorite spot for a sit-down breakfast or lunch. But the full-service deli also has fresh take-out sandwiches, prepared salads, fish cakes, and baked goods -- and it's packed to the rafters with some of the best British and European gourmet food products on the market.
Be sure to head to the basement of Tom Conran's place for the traiteur and deli case stacked with native delicacies like organic Godminster cheddar and Irish oatcakes and ready-made dishes like shepherd's pies, honey-baked gammon, and more.

I'm absolutely loving these British market posts!
Keep them coming!
Oh, and the link to the Conran restaurants--awesome.
Cheers!!!
This place is so much like the shop where I used to work in Maida Vale it's uncanny, even the sandwiches are packaged the same way. Brings back many memories. I miss shops like this, small neighborhood places jam-packed with interesting finds. London is full of them, but I haven't found any here.
Also, lardy cake.
