Interior designer Tommy Chambers and his partner Todd live in a 1,250-square-foot apartment in West Hollywood full of personal items, art, and family heirlooms—even in the kitchen. I mean, check out that rug
Tommy tells Apartment Therapy that he "went all out with every element of the new kitchen." The cabinets are his personal design, and he worked closely with LA-based Mike Cohen of SDM Furniture Makers to build the solid oak cabinetry. Other interesting details to note: the upper cabinets are painted, while the lower cabinets are stained, which is visually intriguing, while the ceiling is wallpapered in a polka dot pattern by Albert Hadley.
All very traditional-looking, yet modern at the same time!
