Spiced Pear Muffins, Toaster Strudels & Apple Pancake

This Week's Recipes

This was our week to celebrate the sweet side of fall: The crisp apples and juicy pears, rich figs and plums, tangy cranberries and gooseberries, and all the other sweet fruits of autumn. We went to town on recipes, too — if you're looking for autumn breakfast ideas, we've got them! Start with Emma's Spiced Pear Muffins; they have a touch of whole wheat for nutty taste and health. I already made a batch of them myself and they made the most delicious breakfast this morning!

Also check out the gooseberry clafoutis, apple toaster strudels, plum crumble, fig old-fashioneds and more. It's a festival of fruit in today's recipes! Read on to see them all...
