I am in awe of people who make consistently beautiful pie crusts. We've offered you some good tips for making reliable crusts and I wanted to show you one more good little resource for making pretty crust edges. (Maybe it will help me perfect my pies by Thanksgiving!)
Better Homes and Gardens has an excellent series of photos and tutorials for making those decorative pie crust edges that add such flair. I especially liked the visual on how to make a scalloped edge — I never quite knew how to do that!

I have so far ignored the edges because I focus on a lattice for the rest of the pie... now I want to try better edges.
Those are great ideas - but does any of them hold its shape when baked? If so, I'm willing to try it!
