My favorite recipe is the one for Scalloped Potatoes...YUMMY. I would love to win this!
I love Epicurious.com's recipes for entertaining; I recently made the Crisp Winter Lettuces with Warm Sweet-and-sharp Dressing (w/ many compliments!).
My favorite Epicrious recipe is Stained-glass teardrops. I baked these cookies for the holidays. They were both pretty and yummy!
Sweet!
I've used epicurious' Easy Tart Crust Recipe for tarts, pies, tarte tatins, and crostatas, all with consistently wonderful results!
I cook up recipes from Epicurious all the time, but I think the one that came out the best was for Deviled Fried Chicken.
My favorite recipe from Epicurious is for a marbleized pumpkin cheesecake. This would be perfect for me! (and my ever-growing jumbled pile of recipe printouts from the web, clippings, and handwritten scribbles from tv shows and my mother.)
Having never met a potato I didn't like, I would have to say that the Scalloped Potato recipe rivals any I've ever used. MMMM
just about any of the chicken recipes
oh man! anything cheesecake is my favorite too!
peppered beef stroganoff
so good!
mexican chocolate ice cream
Fish Fillets with Tomato-Zucchini Sauce is a tasty (and easy!) weeknight recipe.
http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/4481
I haven't made it before, but Potato Gratin with Gruyere and Creme Fraiche sounds decadent.
One of my favorite is the mexican meatball soup.
I always end up there looking for basic pieces for more complicated things and recipes I can cannibalize. )Not so good at following a recipe! Love the comments more than the recipes sometimes, since it tells me how others have already gone and cannibalized them!) My current favorite has to be the pierogi recipes (maybe they were part of one article in a magazine? they've all got about the same date, IIRC).
This summer I made a Blackberry Brown-Sugar Cake from an Epicurious recipe. I used freshly picked blackberries and it was well worth all the time and scratches suffered during the picking process. The brown sugar lends a richer flavor which is perfectly brightened by the fresh berries. I also use browned butter to add another dimension to the cake.
I love almost all the Epicurious recipes-my favorites are deserts.
stained -glass teardrops yummy
actually, i wanted to try today's feature recipe, chocolate bread pudding.
oh yummy i love new recipes especially the Epicurious
Epicurious sure has changed how i cook--laptop on counter and enter ingredients to see what options it conjures up for me. I make white bean and asparagus salad fairly regularly--it's fancy beans on toast. Easy lemony and good.
My mother has a very enthusiastic key lime tree, so I frequently get boxes of limes in the mail. Epicurious's key lime pie recipe is perfect--I freeze the juice in an ice cube tray and thaw them out to make summery southern pies in the dead of New York City winter! And because I'm a tinkerer (aren't we all?), I add gingersnaps to the graham crackers mixture for the crust.
I love alot of the receipes. I love to cook and try out new things. Once I retire I am going to take some cooking classes!
CHEESECAKE
I've been making this "Corn and Wild Rice Soup with Smoked Sausage" for over 10 years and we love it!
http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/833
We call it "Snow Soup", because the first time we made it was for a neighborhood game night and it snowed so hard that my husband had to pick up the neighbors because he had four-wheel drive. We played cards until midnight, watching it snow and eating re-heated soup with cloverleaf rolls. Wonderful memories...wonderful soup!
PS You don't have to do the part where you puree the corn if you want it chunkier.
There is a lemon yogurt pound cake on Epicurious that is really nice. It's a dense cake, but it doesn't taste heavy because it uses olive oil and yogurt instead of a ton of butter.
I'm a fan of the D.I.Y. recipes, especially the one for hummus. Simple and easy to adjust flavors to my mood.
Fish Tagine with Tomatoes, Capers and Cinnamon. I just got a tagine for Christmas, so I've been doing some research on Epi for various tagine recipes. This is the next one we're going to try.
peppered beef stroganoff...yummy
I love the Chicken Tikka. It works great with a tomato and coconut cream-based Indian gravy!
I love their vegetarian and vegan recipes - my tastebook would be full of them! Like Ananda caesar salad with cornmeal-chickpea pancake.
Japanese cold noodles
Fried Chicken
I'd like to try their dark chocolate oatmeal cookies, YUM!
Double chocolate layer cake, hands down. The batter is incredibly liquid and it bakes forever at a really low temperature, and it's the most amazing chocolate cake ever. Ever. http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/101275
Second runner up: gingerbread stout cake.
I love epicurious's barley and lentil soup with swiss chard

Maybe I will this weekend!
I've been getting organic vegetable delivery, so by the end of the week, I'm always left over with a head of red cabbage or a bunch of beets. Epicurious always has good ideas -- whatever I have left over!
I love to cook. Epicurious recipes are great.
OK, so I'm essentially looking forward to making all of the favorites everyone mentioned here - I had never bothered to set up an epicurious account and regretted it as soon as they announced TasteBook. Now I've got ideas coming out of my ears! Maybe there could be a "Kitchn Favorites" book available for purchase - could you get epicurious to donate a portion to charity?
The chocolate bread pudding one just sounds delicious. Haven't got a specific favorite though as I tend to just look to recipes for ideas and then play with what I have available in my kitchen.

I tried the Italian sausage stuffing for X-mas and it was great...
I've made *so many things* from Epicurious, but at the end of the day, I think my favorite Epicurious recipe is the raspberry sauce (http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/107047)
It's really simple, but sometimes its the simple things that become a permanent part of your repertoire. I had initially made it to accompany a flourless chocolate cake, but it was definitely the star of the show. I've since made it to go with a lot of things - roasted pears (with a touch of gorgonzola even...mmm), blueberry pancakes, and cheesecake. Oh, and ice cream, of course. And apple pie.
Very, very tasty.

Oh I love the pumpkin cheesecake.
Good Old Chocolate Chip Cookies!
Several years ago (around 1999) I ran across the anti-pasto stuffed baguettes and thought I would try it. It was really the first time I had attempted a "gourmet" recipe, and by all accounts it turned out great!
Since then I have often turned to Epicurious to find something new to do with a single special ingredient. Wonderful site!
Hm... which one to choose. The first flavor that pops out at me is from the grilled fresh sardines with fennel and preserved lemon. I've made this for a dinner party as well as for myself and my husband and it's gone down a treat each time. Any recipe that includes sardines HAS to be good. Only this one was GREAT.
I am so addicted to the epicurious website. My favorite thing to make from there is their espresso lava cake, its so easy and so incredibly good.
Sticky bun recipe-love bread even if it goes to my thighs

In all honesty, my favorite recipe is the roasted brussels sprouts. Recently roasting has been a trend of mine, especially vegetables, and the sprouts definitely take over a meal this way.
Also, during the winter months, warm vegetables are super comfort food. I love my desserts, but there's something about warm, caramelized brussels sprouts that is just wonderful with chicken or pot roast.
Now I want to go cook.
