Gift: Two SideSwipe Mixer Blades for KitchenAid Tilt Head Mixers
Shop: Available from SideSwipe for $24.95
Remember these SideSwipe Spatula Mixer Blades? They made a big stir when we first posted them. Scraping down the bowl is the only thing we dislike about our KitchenAid. Last time we made a cake we discovered half the butter and sugar lurking in the bottom when we were pouring batter into the pans.
This rather brilliant product adds silicone fins to help mix everything extra-well. It's currently ONLY available for tilt-head KitchenAid models, so you will need to own one (or know someone who does!) to make use of this. We're giving away two today. To enter our Thursday Giveaway, click through...
To be eligible to win one of these mixer spatula blades, please tell us in the comments here about your favorite mixer use. Bread? Cakes? Cookies? Ice cream? What does your KitchenAid mixer help you the most with? For us, it's yeast bread - hands down. We love our dough hook!
The winners will be asked to submit a review of the SideSwipe spatula paddle within two weeks of receiving their gift. We'll post their review and thoughts here.
To enter the giveaway, type a comment in the comment section below by 8:59pm PT/11:59 EST Sunday, January 20, 2008. The winner(s) will be selected at random.
MORE KITCHENAID
Here are a few more KitchenAid-related gadgets we've posted recently:
• Trick out your KitchenAid with flames!
• Utensil bowl clips for your sticky spoons
• Pourfect spill-proof bowls

I love it for making cookies, but last night I used it to mash potatoes. (lazy me)
buttercream
pasta dough!!
toll house cookies. we make a lot of toll house cookies in our family--and they are much easier to make with the kitchenaid.
cookies for me
love my kitchenaid mixer, it's in use all the time~this looks pretty awesome!
I make gingerbread cookies every year during the holidays. The recipe I use makes a ton of sticky thick dough, and there is NO way I could mix it without my trusty KitchenAid.
My kitchenaid dough hook comes in handy when I try to get my husband to actually DO something in the kitchen! He's learned to make pizza dough so it's ready when I get home. But if there weren't a dough hook involved, it would NEVER happen!
(and as an aside, I picked up the Williams-Sonoma mini-bowl that makes the 6quart work as a 4quart. It's remarkable.)
Brownies
Love it for cookies and cakes ... but just about anything is made easier by a KitchenAid!
As a kid growing up, one of my FAVORITES was a german dish that my grandparents brought over from Germany called cheesebuttons...(I have no idea what the german name is!) By hand, these take nearly all day to make with a few people. With my mixer, I am able to make the dough, and then use the pasta roller attachment to roll it out in nice sheets for the pockets! It saves me hours!
Pumpkin Bread !!
Love my dough hook for making pizza dough and bread. Makes it easy to whip up dough without all the mess.
Isa Chandra Moskowitz's Chocolate Chip cookies!
Slightly sweetened whipped cream.
I love it for pizza dough.
cookies!
I love my mixer for making stiff cookie doughs, but my KitchenAid becomes indispensable every single time I use for mixing bread dough.
However, if I won SideSwipe mixer blades, I would totally start using the KitchenAid for cake batters more often!
Whipping cream!! I love making fresh whipped cream. Banana bread, scones and cupcakes too... so much to make, so little time...
Beating egg whites and whipped cream, definitely. I hate doing all that whisking by hand.
Cinnamon bread! But really anything that requires prolonged mixing.
Cupcakes for me. I know they're easy enough to do by hand, but it's so satisfying.
Creaming butter. Before I got my KitchenAid, I used to attack big sticks of butter with a lightweight hand mixer, and it was a long, arduous job!
Sourdough Bread, any yeast bread really. I love my empire gray KitchenAid
brownies and cakes
What don't I use mine for?! I use it the most for cookies, but my favorite uses {biggest time/arm pain savers!} are making fresh whipped cream and homemade rolls with the dough hook.
I love it for whipping egg whites into meringues (favorite use: angel food cupcakes), whipping cream, and occasionally mashed potatoes (when I'm lazy). Ooh, and bread dough.
Oh I'd love to win one of these! I was just telling my brother (the only college student I know who saved up his money to buy himself a kitchenaid!) about them!
Recently I've been using my mixer for cookie dough mostly I'd say.. Although it gets a workout pretty often for whipped cream as well!
i love my kitchen aid - absolutely my favorite birthday gift from my husband ever! I've loved making fresh pasta with it, but also using it for every day baking... mostly gingerbread cake!
I'd love to win this for pastries!
I use my kitchen aid mixer the most or making cookies and quick breads. I think that this spatula mixer would come in handy. I would love to win this!
www.chattyhousewife.blogspot.com
I've wanted to try this out ever since I saw it.
I think it would be great for cake batter.
I have to pick just one thing? Since the holiday season doesn't seem that far back, I'd have to say cookies because I made a ridonkulous amount of Christmas cookies this year. But I've been drooling over this blade since you posted it, and have been debating whether I should buy one.
cookies
I love to make brioche dough in my mixer for Mardi Gras king cakes!
Chocolate chip cookies!
Banana bread...I can already imagine how perfect this attachment will be!
I love using my mixer for bagel dough - they come out great! These would be fabulous for cookies though.
Definitely cookies.
mashed potatoes and whipped cream
Lots of cookies!
Cookies and potatoes... I haven't used it for bread yet. I'd love this - I saved your post about it previously so I could remember it and get myself one.
Pasta,pizza dough!
Cakes and cookies
cookies and cakes
I'd "whip it good" mashed potatoes. ;-) I don't have one of these and would love one to play with and add the different type of ingredients for cookies and cakes. Thanks and Happy 2008!!
Pizza dough, definitely. But also cookies.
cookies and muffins
lots and lots of cookies
Beating eggs for Fritattas (sp?) or cookies :)
Bread is always a winner with the kitchen aid and cookies are a weekly favorite especially chocolate chocolate chip, but during the holidays you can't beat it for home made candy like divinity.
cakes and bread dough
I wanna win!
I keep my mixer on the counter ready for anything. I love it. I use it for anything that requires mixing, except quick breads.
This is a fabulous product idea that I hadn't heard and it would certainly help me.
Thanks for the contest
Use the mixer for just about everything that needs mixing. Breads, cookies, pancakes....yadda, yadda, yadda. You can't beat it! (no pun intended)
Homemade marshmallows! 10 minutes on high speed=magical fluff.
I use my mixer for pretty much everything I don't want to stir by hand - cookies, cheesecakes, cakes, brownies. I just made marshmallows this weekend for the first time and these blades would have come in mighty handy.
Cookie dough or pizza dough.
Pasta sauces! My boyfriend is Italian and he loves the variety of sauces that I have learned to make. Also, I'm always up for experimenting with ingredients and the mixer makes that very easy.
I love it for everything, but one of the great features of this mixer is the pasta roller. Great for pasta, gum paste and fondant!
cakes, cookies, doughs... you name it!
oatmeal rolls
It has to be cookie dough, hands down. Cookie doughs can get so stiff to mix by any other method. And it's essential to scrape down the bowl when mixing them, making the Sideswipe blade a must-have!
Just great for mash potatoes and such. wonderful. thanks
Mixers are for cookies. And whipped cream.
I would gladly ditch my new year's diet to try out making some cookies.
J
Spicy Molasses cookies with rum glaze (cook's illustrated). This would help!
I love it for everything, but especially whipping up egg whites and whipping cream. I tried to do the latter by hand, once---it was a humbling experience...need to do some push-ups!
cookies!!
Brownies with big chuncks of chocolate- my little hand would break off without my mixer!
i really love this and need to win it!!
I use my mixer for making cookies more than anything else. It got an amazing workout this past Christmas!
Ummm...everything? It does make kneaded bread a breeze; I'm much less hesitant to make it now.
I love to use the meat grinder attachment of the Kithenaide to make sausages and meatloaf. How did I ever live without it?
chocolate chip cookie dough!
Cakes. Definitely cakes.
Meringues and whipped cream are my other uses, but cakes.
I love to use my mixer for any kind of baking (cookies in particular). It is great to be able walk away and get the next ingredient while the mixer keeps going.
I love it for making dough. It makes the process so much faster and cleaner!
C is for cookie, it's good enough for me…
Chocolate chip cookies!
Cookies!
my very first recipe with my new (used) kitchen aid: real simple's basil beer bread. pardon the pun, but i am totally hooked! i can't believe i had fresh bread within 50 minutes of throwing everything in the bowl. i was actually giddy about it!
I use my Kitchenaid to make Oreo Truffles!
cookies and whipped cream
my kitchen aid wore out and i always used it to make bread with it.
cookies, especially chocolate chip and oatmeal. Also great for doughs!
love cookies
cheesecakes!
Disaronno Amaretto cheesecake - pet peeve is having to stop and scrape the side down so this winged creature would be awesome!
chocolate chip pecan cookies!
Cookies! Especially Empanadas de dolce - the dough is tough and sticky! This is perfect.
bread
Angel food cake.
I love making cookies, weel at leats make cookie dough if they get to the oven is another matter!
bread and cookies!
whipping cream! So much harder by hand...
bread and whipped cream.
Cake and bread!
grinding meat
profiteroles!!!!!
making cookies
we make homemade pizzas on friday nights, so our orange kitchenaid is used most for dough, but our new years resolution (one of them, anyway) is to do more baking!
I use it most for cookies, but what it helps me with most is keeping my kitchen cleaner. Somehow, using the KA compels me to be neater with ingredients and measuring cups and the like.
Cakes and cookies
I'd love it for cupcakes, they are so tiny, they need to be throughly mixed!
Icing for cake decorating.
Divinity is my favorite.
Definitely bread
My girlfriend would love this! She bakes all the time, and her birthday is coming up soon! I hope I win!
we use ours the most for making cookies
My recent favorite to make with our red KitchenAid mixer is homemade marshmallows. You really get to take advantage of the whole range of speed, beating the gelatin and sugar syrup into fluffy white delicious goodness. They were quite a hit during the holidays (with both mini, regular, and Red Hot glazed versions), and I'm planning on making a batch of Rice Krispy treats very soon. I am quite curious to know how this unique attachment would affect the marshmallow - the more air the better, right?
Pizza dough
I do a lot of baking, mainly bread dough, pastry, and cakes from scratch and I would love to win these blades. I've never seen them before and think its a really clever idea
Oooh perfect for a lighter than air Pan di Spagna (Italian sponge cake), maybe with a Limoncello curd filling and gently whipped cream coating the meltingly soft interior.
Cakes and their requisite buttercream.
Frankly, I think all the bread bakers should be disqualified, since scraping the bowl isn't much of an issue for them (yes, I am kidding. Or not...)
what you're really asking is why my thighs are so big, right? :P
pasta, pasta, pasta and cookies
This is the best product on the market I have used my daughters before but I don't have one of my own would love this.
I was so excited to get a stand mixer this Christmas - now I can make any cookies I see in the Martha Stewart mag!!
Totally cookies!
LOTS of bread !!!
Has to be cookies. Made like 20 pounds of them over the holidays with my mother and it would have taken sooo much longer without the Kitchenaid. Maybe even faster with this mixer. Heh.
gets used mostly for cookies, but it does beautiful bread dough too
cookies cakes anything sweet
I use the dough hook at least 3-4 times a week to make fabulous bread dough.
carrot cake!
We love to make hugh batches of cookie dough. We then freeze a bunch of the dough for easy cookies later on. Great giveaway. Thanks for offering it.
my kitchen aid helps me most because my husband loves to use it - it looks so cool that he just can't help take over whatever i start !!!
i make a fare amount of pizza dough, so i use the dough hook alot. we could use these also.
Sweet
Anything sweet!!
I COOK ALL THE TIME THIS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE.
Italian meringue.....not sure how that was *ever* produced before the electric mixer....
Egg whites. Nothing like a mid-week soufflé made possible by the Kitchen Aid.
That, and bread dough.
I've been using mine mostly for cookies lately, but I've also made a killer sweet potato casserole with the kitchen-aid.
I have had seven children. Do I use my KitchenAid?!?!?! I can't imagine my life without it. I make so many things, but my very favorite thing of all is:
Chocolate Chip Cookies!! *And I have an awesome recipe too*
dough
Alton Brown's chewy cookies, with white chocolate chips and dried cranberries. I send them to my girlfriend across the country.
I eat a few, too.
Cookies cookies cookies cookies cookies cookies cookies cookies cookies cookies cookies cookies cookies cookies!!! :D
the smoothest cheesecake ever!
...the fattiest too. coincidentally, i am sure.
Pizza dough all the way
how perfect!
My mom's sugar cookies
Seriously, egg whites!
Pizza dough! This would be great!
Chocolate chip walnut banana bread
Garlic mashed potatoes. Yummmmmm.
cake batter
Cookie central!
Christmas cookies!!!!!
I love baking cookies, muffins, breads, biscotti, and the occasional cake. My Kitchenaid stays pretty busy, and I would love to try the sideswipe blades.
I make cookies for my husbands lunch at work, he requests them and my older kids also stop over and grab some for their snacks too
chocolate chip cookies
LOVE my stand mixer!!!
I already own this wonderful blade. All the revies are TRUE then some. If I were to win two of my friends would get nice gifts
I don't have a stand mixer YET. My birthday is coming up and I've been dropping heavy hints.
YEAST BREAD. Pretty much the only thing I use my KitchenAid for, but it was worth every penny. Although the mixer does have a habit of making a run for the counter edge with certain types of dough.
Pasta. A couple of eggs, a couple cups of semolina flour and a little oil. Set it on the lowest speed and it makes the perfect pasta.
Of course I blew out the motor on my first kitchen aid making pasta, so learn from my mistake and stay on the lowest setting.
Cookies! One day I might even be brave enough to try bread.
I LOVE TO MAKE COOKIES TOO. I RUN A FOSTER HOME FOR DISABLED ADULTS AND THEY REALLY APPRECIATE GOODIES. I JUSY NOTICED THAT MY OLD MIXER NEEDS REPLACING, THE CORD IS CRACKED. I COULD USE A NICE NEW KITCHENAID
Cupcakes! From vegan cupcakes take over the world :)
I love my pasta attachment to make home made pasta (linguini). The Side Swipe Spatula blades would be so handy. They would also help when whipping up cream for toppings and take away the temptation of my reaching into the bowl and swiping the sides with my finger.....helpful for my diet....
Cookies!! At Christmas I make dozens of different kinds of cookies!!
Cookies!
As most of the above:
Cookies
I love my kitchenaid and make lots of Christmas cookies, brownies, etc........
baking experiments, mostly cupcakes though! i've been coveting one of those sideswipe blades since you first wrote about them!
Pancakes
cookies, cookies, cookies. especially for the holidays
We made chocolate shortbread today.
I have two young girls and we make homemade yeast doughnuts at least once a month!
Cookies!
I just got my mixer (aka "mojo mixin'") and so it's definitely increased the amount of cookies being baked in my house
OH!!!!! i Have been coveting this for the past few months!
My favorite use for my kitchenaid is cakes! I love to make cakes for my family and special occastions.
Love this thing to make bread dough, cookie dough...anything doughy!
I deserve cookies
"My Little Angel Of Love"
I gave life to a precious angel just a few short days ago
I love her more than life itself but I loved her enough to let her go
For two short days I held her close in a warm loving embrace
Those beautiful moments in which we bonded my mind will never erase
God gave me a Christian couple that can take care of her every need
But my eyes will always be streaked with tears; my heart will forever bleed
If I could have just one wish our paths will cross again
But I will hold her close in my heart and love her in silence until then
I know I did the right thing. I'm at peace with the Lord above
And I know He will always be watching over "My Little Angel Of Love"
My Kitchen Aide would love this!
I use it mostly for cakes!
I like it for thicker cookie doughs.
cookies, cookies, and more cookies!!
I must admit ... I am entering this contest on behalf of a friend. :) I don't have a KitchenAid, but she does and she loves cooking for all of her friends. She makes cookies, bread, cakes, and everything else you can imagine. She isn't making much at the moment, though, because she is VERY pregnant and will be giving birth in about one week! What better way to welcome her back into the kitchen than with a great gift like this? I know she'd love it. :D
I use my mixer for Italian Cookies and Whole Wheat Pasta the most. Plus everything and anything else I mix. I can't imagine not having it, I've become spoiled.
I don't have a mixer, but my sister does and she makes the most fabulous sour cream pound cakes that are especially yummy right out of the oven. If I won I would give her the spatula mixer thingy.
I have two favorites when it comes to using my mixer: Homemade Mashed Potatoes (heaven on Earth!), and 7-Minute Frosting (that wonderful, old fashioned, fluffy, non-fat, marshmallow-like stuff!)
I'd love to try the SideSwipe Mixer Blades--thanks for the offer!
Birthday Cakes!
Definetely chocolate chip cookies with walnuts...mmm
Cupcakes!
Cookie Dough..... want to show guys I date I can cook LOL
my cookies
I love to make pumpkin bread- this would help get it ALL out of the mixer and into the bread pan.
omg i have been waiting on this to come out!! I love to make cookies and cupcakes!! and i love my kitchenaid!
We make our masa for tamales in our kitchaid. Let's see if the sideswipe can handle that!
I just got my mixer for xmas this year. So far I've used it to make oatmeal raisin cookies and some banana bread. They both turned out fabulous. I can't wait to use it to make ice cream and pasta dough!
totally ice cream
i love it for making things to send to the troops
This one is too fun. I made a "date" with my 3 year old grandson to spend the day. We went to the park and fed the ducks. Played on the playground. Did our "homework"..two pages in the sticker book. And made cookies..one of those Betty Crocker mixes..used my Kitchen Aide. Sean got to turn on, off, I scraped down. He did the scooping and the squishing down. They were delicious, of course! And he made them, "All by myself!" Did I mention, he put sprinkles..lots of them on each cookie. I got GRANDMA POINTS for this day.
I love making ice cream but for the side swipe, I might use it to whip up some icing or meringue -- just to see it in swipey glory.
Cookies, of course!
creamy mashed potatoes
I bought my Kitchenaid mixer after becoming frustrated trying to make a double batch of Chocolate Coma cookies with my old Sunbeam. So cookie dough is my answer, but I love it for nearly everything!
I love to make bread with my KitchenAid, but really I use it for almost everything
I use mine to make cookies, especially around the holidays. Frankly, I can't even imagine mixing those tough cookie doughs without one.
yum, angel food cake. I'd have to give the sideswiper to mum, as I have a lift-bowl model of KitchenAid- think the'd love it though
I cook a lot and use my mixer even more. I love making pizza dough with mine. This attachment would be AWESOME to have. I have wanted something like this for quite some time!
THANKS!
Wow...now my mixer won't be attacking my spatula when I try to sneak it in to scrape the bowl!!
I seem to end up baking chocolate chip cookies almost weekly. I probably wouldn't make them that often without a KitchenAid.
Making Christmas cookies is my favorite mixer use,
It's best for homemade bread.
I use my mixer for everything, but probably most often to make cookie dough. Although I have been meaning to start baking bread again...
Mixer is used most for mashed potatoes. Yum!
These look so cool! I have read about them and would love to try them out.
I love my KitchenAid and my KitchenAid would love it if I'd stop jamming a spatula into the bowl while it's running.
I love the dough hook attachment. It make bread baking so much easier.
My favorite use for my Kitchen Aid is definitely for making bread. Love that dough hook!
I really want one of these SideSwipes for whipping cream and egg whites. It would be great for cakes too.
the mixing blade would help most with my oatmeal cookie dough. I always have to incorporate the extra oats lefyt at the bottom. I get the most use out of my mixer making whipped cream. The cream fat bubbles don't get broken like some mixers so the cream does not separate the next day in the fridge
I like to use my KitchenAid for cupcake batter and frosting, plus whites for meringue and pizza dough. Yum!
My grandmothers coconut cake recipe!
Oh wow I would love this, I make tons of cookie dough!
My Christmas Stollen reciepe...it's a family tradition!
Love to bake cake for my family.
It's great for bread and pizza dough, but I use it for many other things.
My favorite use of my kitchen aid is baking with my 4 year old niece.
making marshmallows!
I use mine for cookie dough.
I love the juicer attachment. I buy a huge bag of limes, juice them, put them in an ice cube tray in the freezer and voila...instant margaritas and majito ingredients!
My favorite use for my mixer is chess bars. It's one of my favorite treats, and it's not hard to make. The only thing is, it requires a strong mixer. I could use a new one!
Pizza dough, pasta, breads and yummy variations of mashed potatoes.
I'd love to give it a try and let you know how it works.
my favorite use:anything-the fact the mixer will spin and mix without me holding it is a HUGE kitchen aid!
I love to make biscotti and cookies with my mixer.
I love my KitchenAid! A few years ago, I had to cut back on baking anything with a stiff dough because of my arthritis. Then hubbie brought home the KithenAid and I'm back in business making Ignatius Delights, HootieTooties and Ginger Dreams. If I didn't have to scrape down the bowl, mixing would be even easier. Ahhh, the delights of modern technology!
Honestly, my favorite thing to make with my KA mixer is real whipped cream - I would never make it without that mixer!
I love to make cheesecake with my mixer, so much easier. also bread with the dough hook.
We love Schlag(sp?) and Meringues (also sp?)! mmmmmm!
It always impresses friends when I whip up some fresh Whipped Cream!
Eggnog, it's all homemade and it's amazing!
This would be perfect for cookie dough.
I use mine for baking mostly, cookies, cakes and frosting. this attachment is amazing I would use it all the time!
Finally a reason for me to purchase the mixer (ROFL)
Oooh, that's fabulous, I want one!
My favorite thing to make in my KitchenAid stand mixer is fluffy, fluffy egg whites for blue cheese or crab souffle.
The thing I make most often, though, is whipped cream...
It's indispensable for breadmaking, too.
I love my mixer!
I just got my Kitchen Aid mixer and have been making tons of cookies and pound cake! This would be perfect!
I have had my Kitchen Aid since 1973-we have used it for everything-from icing for decorated cakes (beating frosting for an hour at a time) to super-heavy cookie dough. It just keeps on chugging along. I would love these blades!
Wow! Professsional chef quality!
Pizza dough is what I use my mixer most for, but I also love using it for meatloaf and burger mixtures if I don't feel like getting my hands all meaty.
I love to use my Kitchen Aid for mixing my meatballs! Saves me the cold, sticky hands!!!
Mmmm, Butter. Throw in cream, turn on, do a little butter dance around the kitchen, remove butter. And treat yourself to an extra jig, because you also get buttermilk! Mmmm, Pea soup with buttermilk. Mmmm, leek soup with buttermilk. But stop dancing! Get back to the butter. Add salt, honey, basil, or raspberries. Mmmm. Or just put a warm piece of yeast bread underneath a thick pad of fresh butter. Resume dancing.
My family has been making 8-10 kinds of cookies, quadruple batches, for years, the day after Thanksgiving. We give them out as gifts. This would help a lot!
I would love this for cakes and cookies!
Cookies, lots of cookies would be fun
bread
cookies. loads of cookies. with chocolate chips :)
oh Handy!
This tool seems particularly suited for batters and would be great for cheesecake but my favorite thing to use my KA for is stiff cookie batters. They just come together fast and nearly effortlessly with the mixer.
Ice Cream!
I just bought a copy of "The Perfect Scoop" and have been trying out the various recipes from that - avocado, green tea, chocolate guinness, etc... All Yummy!
Of course, what inspired me to buy my mixer was when I used a friends to make bundt cake and was amazed at how easy it was!
I love making pastry - it's so quick and easy! I have also started mincing my own meat.
Favorite Mixer Use? Hearing my newlywed Husband tell me how much "our" mixer (the one I've embraced for seven years) rocks as he makes fresh bread.
i love that you can add all your ingredients and walk away while it's mixing, this mixer is the greatest thing since bread & butter :)
I love the mixer when my children want to make cookies. A stand mixer makes it easy to clean-up their trail of destruction.
Ohh- I can make tons of cookies w/ this!
birthday cake!!
Bread, veggie mashes, and meatloaf. I've got a wonky arm, so anything that requires more than two stirs or smushes finds its way into the mixer bowl.
Love to make sour dough bread
Oh Wow what a great addition to my mixer !! This would be great for cookies!!
I use my kitchen aid mixer the for making cookies and quick breads.
Well, its all about cookies and cakes for me...my favorites. I'd love to try this out and write a review for you, here's hoping!! Thanks...
I have had a KitchenAid for several years and have always had a problem of the bottom of the bowl not getting mixed. This new attachement will be GREAT!!
BobJ64
I use my mix master daily! I love it for cookies and breads, mashed potatoes, brownies, you name it!!!
Chocolate chip cookies!
We love whipped potatoes made with the mixer.
It got tons of use recently for my scratch carrot cake rolls. I converted my pumpkin roll recipe into a carrot cake roll! In doing so I had to mix up batches and batches of cake batter and then batches and batches of cream cheese frosting to coat them in. This scraper would have come in handy...let me tell you!
this would be a great addition to my mixer, which makes lots of banana bread
excellent help with my meatloaf
Any sticky dough, cake mix will be better mixed with my trusty Kitchen Aid mixer. (This was the best present I've received.)
Brownies - my favorite!
oatmeal raisin cookies!
I love making marshmallows with my KitchenAid mixer! They have to be beaten for several minutes at high speed, and it is a lot of fun to watch the gooey marshmallow turning white and ballooning in volume. I can get the pan prepared for the mixture while the KitchenAid does all the work.
For biscotti and cookies, it's perfect!
while we bake a lot of cookies from scratch (especially when grandma is in town :P), my favorite use for the mixer is for mashed potatoes because we eat them all the time!
EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!! What can't you make with it? I just got mine for Christmas and it's definitely the gift that "keeps on giving". I'll have it forever!
This will make scraping the bowl a think of the past. What a wonderful idea.
Mostly cookies, but also cakes and pasta dough!
I love it for everything, but if I have to pick just one thing it would be making frosting like my mom and I HATE taking the time to scrape the bowl down.
It really makes sticky breads like brioche a breeze.
Mama Ciarcio's tomato spinach pizza dough!
Oh my gosh I need that!!!!
I love making cake :)
Bread every week.
This would be a fabulous addition to my Kitchen Aid!! Cookies and bread dough are my Fav's!!
Cakes and awesome meringue buttercream frosting. And pizza dough, oh yeah, pizza dough.
Birthday Cakes!
candy ~
I love using my mixer to make cakes...and it shows!
masa dough for tamales!
Key Lime Pie.
mmm... pie.
Wow! I didn't know this product exsisted! What a great idea! Thanks for the giveaway :)
cookies!
Gingerbread dough. A total pain without the mixer.
I use my Kitchenaid for all kinds of cakes and cookies, but it does a great job on a thick shortbread dough.
We started using the grater attachment on our kitchenaid to grate cold butter to make the BEST pie crust without a cuisinart. We just grate the butter into the other ingredients. Makes perfect "pea sized" butter specks in the dough.
The dough for cinnamon rolls. Anytime I don't have to knead is a good time :)
Oh Gosh, so hard to say. Definately any time I need to whip up egg whites or heavy cream. My kitchenaid makes it easy and I don't get a spray of foam all over my kitchen.
Mine help me with pizza dough every Friday! This new mixer blade would be perfect for the times when I'm mixing something else and, like yousaid, there is a bunch of stuff in the bottom that didn't get mixed in!
COOKIES!
I love new gadgets
How have I never seen this before?! Definitely useful for the old pumpkin chocolate chip cookies!
My husband wanted it for brownies and cookies---he's such a chocolate junkie!
oh, this would be absolutely wonderful!
Just made upcakes last night!
I love a good upcake.
For me, pasta dough and whipped cream are the most frequent usages. And mashed potatoes. Oh, I love my kitchen-aid.

These beaters look great! The only gripe I have ever had about this mixer is the fact that I have to scrape the sides a lot. These really look like they would fix that problem!

Hands down, double batches of chocolate chip cookies or banana nut bread. Makes it so easy. This little gadget would be great for getting the sides mixed in better.
I use my KitchenAid mixer for everything. But, my favorite use is for making my Dad's old recipe for English Pork Pies. The old fashioned way took hours - the mixing of the pork filling, the hot water pastry, and the yummy gelatin mixture. Dad spent all day in the kitchen. I now can make a delicious pork pie in about 45 minutes. Unfortunately the pie doesn't last for more than 10 minutes! Time to make another one.

This is such a great idea for an amazing mixer!! I use it ever day, as I am a personal chef/baker!
The best thing I use my KitchenAid for? Mashed Potatoes, they come out very smooth and creamy based on the recipe printed in the recipes section of the manual. The best part is if I need to add garlic or chives, they're mixed in quite well by the mixer.
Pizza dough. My husband is working on perfecting his whole wheat pizza, so we have pizza most Saturdays. Love our dough hook!
I am a volunteer baker and make a lot of cookies for senior center residents. The seniors really appreciate fresh homemade cookies that are big and all the same size.
Making the cookie dough is the easy compared to getting all the cookies to be the same side and shape.
The SideSwipe Paddle Spatula would really help me speed up the dough mixing process.
