It's June! What were we eating (and blogging) this time last year? There were two of our favorite recipes: a very easy dessert - simple crispy phyllo squares with cream and fruit - and a pasta salad with lemon, goat cheese and fried capers. These links and more below, including Spanish white wine, tips for saving energy in the kitchen this summer, a survey on how you store your drinking glasses, and the difference between yucca and yuca.

I was so excited finding a post about Spanish wines (yes, I'm from Spain) and there I find the typo (or so I hope) of saying Catalunya (Catalonia for you in English) is located to the Northwest of Spain. It's actually to the Northeast, its sea being the Mediterranean and not the Atlantic, and that's a key factor regarding its climate and the wine it produces. It's always cloudy and rainy in the Northwest, a lot like London weather, but in (supposedly) sunny Spain.
Oh, by the way, loved the pasta recipe!
