It's no secret how much we love Target here at Kitchn. For better or worse, we love the fact that we never know how much time — or money — we're going to end up spending each time we walk through those red doors. (Will it just be five minutes while we run in for a bottle of dish soap? Or will we find ourselves totally distracted and powerless against all those cute new throw pillows for our breakfast nook? There's just no way to predict!)
And now there's some news that has us extra excited to hit up Target this fall: The company will be launching more than a dozen exclusive new brands in the next two years, starting with four in early September. Think: Threshold (the store's line of home and kitchen gear) and Pillowfort (all sorts of cute stuff for kids' rooms), but even better.
While three of the four soon-to-be-released brands are clothing-related (women's stuff, activewear, and menswear), which does nothing for us, there's one new line we're especially champing at the bit to see: Project 62. It's being touted as a modern home brand thoughtfully designed for everyday life — and we'd always rather have a new set of cheese knives than a new purse.
But September is two too many months from now! Luckily, we got a little preview. Keep scrolling to take a look at some of the items in the new line. We can't wait to see what other kitchen and tabletop items are coming up.
