When your entire living space is one relatively small room, it can be a big challenge to fit everything you need. While there are spacious studios to be found out there, most of them still use smart solutions to piece together a fully featured kitchen.

Take this vacation rental studio, for example. It might not need a chef's kitchen, but it does require the basics. It holds one smart solution that we love and can see working in plenty of other kitchens. Take a look at what it is.

A pull-out dining table!

Yes, we've seen pull-out cutting boards and trash bins, but those are generally features of bigger kitchens that end up being a luxury. This dining table really makes the best use of the small amount of space in this tiny studio. (You can see more photos of the apartment on Houzz to get a sense of just how small it really is.)

So what makes this so ingenious? By just using the space it would take to have one extra drawer, this kitchen is able to have a dining table for two people that completely vanishes when it's not in use and requires very little storage space.

We've seen many small kitchens over the years where this would have been quite the lifesaver.
