I recently discovered these wonderful vintage Danish bread slicers and now I'm having fun looking at all the colors they come in. This Danish company has been around since the 1700s and these bread slicers seem to date back to at least the early 20th century, if not earlier. Here's a look at just some of the enameled colors they come in.
Mustard yellow — my favorite.
Bright green, with a solid wood handle.
White — and you can see the cradle for the bread, which some people repurpose into a mini bookshelf for the kitchen.
Very stylish mint green.
