Take a look at this faucet. It looks just like a regular faucet, right? Well, it is ... and it isn't. There's something very cool about the way this faucet works. Can you guess what it is?
It's controlled with a foot pedal!
Three years ago, Faith visited food blogger Lilian's kitchen in central Ohio. Lilian cooks in her dream kitchen, a large, barn-style space with vaulted timber ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows. (Seriously — check out this photo!)
There are so many amazing things about this kitchen, but one of the best features has to be the simple foot pedal Lilian uses to control the water faucet. This is so smart for a variety of reasons: it turns on and off instantly, conserves water, and saves Lilian from having to wrangle a faucet knob or lever with messy hands.
This is now officially on my wish list for a future kitchen. Genius, right?
Have you ever heard of this? Do you have a foot pedal in your kitchen to control the faucet?
