Thanks to science, you may be off the hook for some of your bad eating choices when you've had a bit too much to drink.
Scientists at the University of Indiana's medical school recently released a study that found that alcohol can make food smell better.
Better and more appealing, that is, than it would smell if you were sober. No wonder bar food tastes better at the end of the night.
The study gave participants an IV drip of either saline or alcohol and then measured how each person felt about lunch and recorded how much each person ate. Unsurprisingly, the participants who had been given alcohol ate more.
