Okay, the pumpkin spice craze has officially gone too far. There's apparently an active trade in jugs of the sweet, fall-flavored syrup.
While you can technically buy pumpkin spice syrup from Starbucks stores or their site, PSL devotees claim that it's not the same stuff.
In order to get his fill, and see just how many things he could make pumpkin spice flavored (bacon, and old fashioned, pancakes, even pizza) New York Magazine writer Hugh Merwin bought a jug of the real stuff on eBay.
The moral of the story? A little pumpkin spice sauce goes a long way.
