Winter Color! Kevin and Greg's Sugar Shack Kitchen

We've been trawling the house tour archives at our sister home sites, looking for kitchen inspiration to liven up these last grey winter days. This kitchen didn't just pop out at us - it practically exploded with color! See more details from Kevin and Greg's Melrose kitchen below, plus a link to their whole tour...

The tulips really pop against the baby blue of their kitchen. The blue peeks out from open doorways and arches, brightening the rest of the house out of the corner of your eye.

Tulips! Sunshine! We would bake lemon tarts in this kitchen and make spicy, cool fish salads in crisp lettuce cups.

We admire the fearless blue in this kitchen; it takes real commitment to splash that much color on, but the vivid fruit and colorful plates on the walls balance it out.

What would you cook in this kitchen?

What a happy and fearless place! Carmen Miranda would be jealous. And I totally would spend vacations here. =)

I'd want to cook a lemon meringue or coconut cream pie ... forget the fact that there aren't any lemons nor coconuts around--I'd just want to make something fluffy, lovely, and white to see how it would absorb all that lively color.

I love this. I just painted my kitchen a similar color and I have the same b&w checkerboard floor. Now, if only my landlord would let me paint the hideous cabinets.

Wow! The 3 dimensions of flowers did it for me!

Kitchen table, laundry room and patio.

This looks a lot like our kitchen, we have a very similar wall color, and the same floor!
