Where'd you grab that photo at the top of the post? Is there a recipe attached (somewhere) to it?! Because I think I'd like to make that for dinner this weekend if I can!

Courtesy of great food blogs we had a mighty tasty dinner and dessert!

Thanks to The Kitchn I made Mark Bittman's Lettuce Wrapped Fish.

Since your post on Pinot Grigio, http://www.thekitchn.com/thekitchn/wine/how-to-choose-good-cheap-wine-from-the-big-brands-pinot-grigio-057483 I'd been thinking about the bottle of Santa Margharita we have, so I used that as the poaching wine for the cod in Bittman's dish, and we drank the rest. Served it with Sesame Green Beans and Garlic Roasted Potatoes.

To top it off I made Baking Bites Zebra Cake, I'm happily stuffed and tired! http://bakingbites.com/2008/07/zebra-cake/

Crazy--I just logged in to catch up, and that dish looks like the squash casserole I made for dinner earlier tonight, only mine had rice.

Sorry guys - had no idea that casserole would prompt so much interest! It was just an improvised veggie gratin - no recipe really needed.

I just cut up some summer veggies - tomatoes, garlic, zucchini and squash, tossed with olive oil and salt and pepper, and scattered in a few chunks of whole milk mozzarella. Then I topped with an even mixture of Parmesan and breadcrumbs (about half cup each) and baked at 350 for 45 minutes or until the top browned.

It was yummy - I ate it for dinner all last week!
