Web Resource: Honey Locator

2008_07_22-Honey.jpgIf you're trying to find local honey or a specific type of honey (Black Locust, Tupelo, or Gallberry?) this website may be what you need.

Called the Honey Locator, it's a searchable database of honey by state and type. It makes it so easy! You can even search other countries, and you can search for honeycomb and whipped honey. Be sure to bookmark this wonderful resource.

Interesting resource.

Is it just me, or are other people having a hard time finding buckwheat honey? The apiaries near me are only making "light buckwheat" (half buckwheat, half clover or wildflower) this season because they can't find buckwheat fields to pollinate.
