The town was very small, but the market was big. The food was mostly local and seasonal; however, there were tomatoes and stawberries from the south of Spain (which we're told is the European Union's answer to Mexico.)

There were long displays of delicious local cheeses, bins of homemade tapenades, mounds of spices, fresh seafood from the Mediterranean, local honey, regional wine, radishes, meats, salad greens, fava beans, and fresh bread. It was true eye candy. We hope you enjoy the photos.
