We can hardly believe it's already season six of our favorite food competition show. (Quick! Can you name all the past winners?) But here we are, in sunny Las Vegas, for another round of drama-filled competition for the title of Top Chef, and $125,000.

Tonight, we’ll be introduced to the 17 new cheftestants, at least one of whom will surely be asked to pack his or her knives and go by the end of the episode (and we’ll struggle to remember this unfortunate person's name during some inevitable reunion later in the season).

Many of the biggest names in the restaurant business have already made their way to Las Vegas and will be stopping by to help judge a challenge. Of course, there will also be a few non-food celebrities along the way, like Penn & Teller and Natalie Portman. We’re most looking forward to an appearance by one of our favorite TV cooks – the always lovely Nigella Lawson.
