I'm celebrating "Get a new iMac Day" which I was going to celebrate today whether it was Black Friday or Shrove Tuesday. But the Apple Store knocking $101 off today tipped the scales in favor of getting it from the Apple Store.

I decided to come into work and not spend a vacation day taking today off. Not many are here and I'm getting SO much done.
I don't like to shop on black Friday because I don't want to get stomped down by the lemming stampede.

In the city of Boston, the shops aren't too busy... most must have flocked to the 'burbs. We have many gifts to ship to the West Coast, so best to buy and mail as soon as possible - before the post office lines grow any longer!
