Wish List: Verdure Fruit Bowl from Sundance

2009_01_30-verdurebowls.jpgWe wish we had a birthday coming up. Or a wedding. Or anything where we could ask for presents. Because we're in love with this beautiful bowl from potter Rebecca Wood that we just saw in the Sundance Catalog.

Sundance is a company that aims to sell sustainable goods made in the US, much of it from recycled and organic materials. This bowl is crafted from North Carolina clay and comes in three dreamy colors. How pretty would that aqua be with some bright orange clementines in it?

Of course, we'd use our (hypothetical) bowl for serving pasta, salad, pasta salad... See? So versatile. It would be a work of art in our kitchen or on our dining table.

The fruit bowl is 10" across. There are also smaller, more shallow bowls (below) that are 7" across.

2009_01_30-verdure2.jpgBuy them from Sundance:
Verdure Fruit Bowl, $95
Verdure Small Bowl, $45

Wait long enough and it will go on sale.

Some of the favorite objects in my house came from Sundance's outlet markdowns.
