We recently engaged in a fruitless and exasperating search for good-looking, reasonably priced beverage dispensers. Too bad we didn't see these then.

We love using jars with spigots like these when we have a big party. A good beverage dispenser is less prone to spills and dribbles than a pitcher (although a bad beverage dispenser is awful).
These glass dispensers are classy, quite beautiful, and striking. They're also reasonably priced. Do you use anything like this for holiday parties and buffets?
These are all from Z Gallerie. We would have liked to have brought you a wider selection, but believe us — we've looked everywhere for something classy, and these things are hard to find. Do you have a recommendation or tip for another good glass beverage dispenser? Leave it in the comments!
• 1 Trio Beverage Dispenser, $69.95 - We love this one! It's so interesting and unusual, and the creative possibilities with this are really great. How about water with lemon in one, then ginger ale (with slices of fresh ginger) and apple cider in the other two? Guests can mix them up if they like. (via Timeless Paper)
• 2 Empire Beverage Dispenser, $69.95 - So classy! Looks a little wobbly, but at an adults-only party should be great. Very striking.
• 3 Apothecary Beverage Dispenser, $49.95 - A classic apothecary jar, for a fraction of the price Anthropologie charges for theirs!

I LOVE the trio one on top. Beautiful!

I sure do! I just bought a bunch for Halloween and I love them. The site seems to cater to wedding and event planners, and I admit to going a little nutso and buying tons of stuff. . .
Not a huge selection of dispensers, but tons of great apothecary jars and other goodies.

The Trio is a smart idea. Good looking to boot and doens't cost the earth.

krameador, the flat bottomed glasses are Hudson glasses from Z Gallerie... goblet, water glass or fluter, on sale, 4 for $19.16 -- http://www.zgallerie.com/p-6668-hudson-glassware-set-of-4.aspx

krameador, C&B has similar flat bottom, handblown glasses - called "Edge" - http://www.crateandbarrel.com/Family.aspx?c=130&f=6633

The trio looks GREAT! I wish it were wider and/or larger. Would it suffice for a party of say 20 people? You'd have to refill it every hour or so right?

Just jumped to the link for the apothecary beverage dispenser and this is what it said:
Important information for California Residents - in accordance with Prop 65, WARNING: "Use of this product will expose you to lead and/or cadmium, chemicals known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm."
Was thinking about getting this as a gift. Can anyone provide some rational behind this? Does this have any more lead in it than any other common items?

I am usually more casual when I entertain, so these are a bit fussy for me (though nice). I really like the containers used for aguas frescas:

These are very large so less re-filling is needed. They don't have spigots, so you just use ladles. I think people like to ladle out the fruit and goodies, too.
They are sold with glass tops, which restaurants don't usually use but are fine for parties. They're also very inexpensive (I picked up several for $9.99 each at Smart & Final a few years back).
I really like their "old school" look and function.

In love! Especially with the first and last two! The middle one, though striking, looks like an accident waiting to happen.

Gorgeous all...particularly the ZGallerie one. But my accident prone self will stick with the polycarbonate ones I got at Pottery Barn 2 years ago.
They're out of stock now, but will probably come back as summer nears. The came back last year in two sizes.

willimemo, virtually everything in CA has a Prop 65 lead warning attached at the point of sale. The notices are also posted in restaurants so you know that the glasses you are sipping from will kill you some day. I highly doubt that the beverage dispenser has any higher lead level than any other glass or ceramic wear available.

that trio is great! i like the look of the second one too, but it's just too unbalanced, both on the visual side and the i-would-totally-spill-that-side. :) i love the idea of mixing your own drink concoctions!

Though for the not so coordinated like me, refilling that bottom layer if the top two are still full is just ASKING for disaster....esp after a few cups of cheer!
