Coaster slippers? We found these on our iced tea glass when out to lunch the other day. It was a hot day and the glass was sweating freely, beaded with cold condensation. A coaster was certainly in order, to protect the marble tables, but this little slipper surprised us.
It was made out of light felt and slipped over the base of the stemware. Our dining friend loved hers; she said that it kept the condensation on the glass from dripping on her when she took a sip. But what do you think?
Similar coaster slippers are available at Epic Gifts - $3.25 for a pack of 8.

When I saw your headline I thought you'd be talking about these, multiple sets of which were given to me as a gift. But the felt version looks far more classy.

For a while I was constantly picking up my iced beverages and dripping onto my trackpad, which would then screw up my tracking. I'd love something like this, but less frou-frou. Maybe some sassy colors or modern prints?

I have 2 sets of 8 of vintage '60s elastic terrycloth-ish sort of rings in all these bright colors that are made to fit on a stem base like these do. They're pretty mod in the nice bright colors. But I've only used one on a glass myself to try them out since I bought at the some thrift shop! Once we move I can unpack them and use them next summer.

Aunt Bee! Where'd we put those glass cozies?
Really this looks like something out of my grandmother's house. A cocktail napkin still works best and looks far better.
