Our sister home sites just finished a contest called blik this Wall, looking for creative uses of blik wall decal decorations. We tend to focus more on cooking than decoration over here, but we had to highlight these decals designed purely for kitchen use - Dishware Decals!
These decals come in three designs: Bird, Leaf, and Farm Animal.
They claim to be steam, heat and water resistant, but still easily removable. What do you think? Would you customize your plain white dinnerware with these?
They're quite affordable - $6 for a sheet of 24 transfer decals at The Curiosity Shoppe. They can also be used on glass and tile.

Just wanted to share the link to buy the decals at the (online)Curiosity Shoppe...the Shoppe has also just opened a storefront in San Francisco (lucky lucky us!) at 885 Valencia, between 19th & 20th. Can't wait to check it out myself....
