We haven't covered a good tabletop store in a while, and spring always gets us in the mood for playful and bold tabletop pieces. As Maxwell said in his review last year of Global Table, "It's the small things in life that make the difference," and Global Table is the perfect store for finding beautiful small things, that light up your tabletop.
 
 

We have been shopping at Global Table for years, usually for gifts, but sometimes these gifts are for ourselves. Their small SoHo shop is filled with stacks of beautiful bowls, plates, glasses and mugs.

The store finds amazing little objects all over the world, but from Asia in particular, for eating, drinking, serving, and tossing. One of our favorite house gifts is a bowl filled with a sack of Fleur de Sel, along with one of the petit spoons (from steel to wood to alabaster) you can find back near the shop's desk.

The prices are reasonable, and you will never walk out empty-handed. Even if you didn't find the gift for the people on your list, you may have found one for yourself.
