Tongs or Spatula? What's Your Favorite Grilling Tool?

2008_07_29-GrillTools.jpgWhether you grill indoors or out, over a grill pan or over hot coals, you need tools to help you get just the right sear on that steak (or eggplant).

What is your can't-do-without-it grill tool? Tell us here, and if you have a favorite brand or more details, tell us in the comments. Also, more info about those very pretty grilling tools above, after the jump.

Those look more like tweezers than proper tongs.

I prefer the two pronged fork, but I only grill steaks, chops and other slabs of unprocessed meat.

Thanks for the grill tweezer source!

I've been looking at medical supply sites for these.

Standard tongs like we use in the States are not really used in Europe. These tweezer like tongs are used because they are more gentle and precise.

We have a grill tool that's a mix of both - it's tongs, but one of the tongs is a spatula, so you can slide it under your grilling item and grip it while you flip.
