July Is Escapes Month

Happy July! Yes, we know that it's almost halfway through the month already, but due to our own personal getaways, we're just now really gearing up for our Escapes month here at The Kitchn. But there is a lot coming this month: bringing home inspiration for the kitchen from travels and adventures, and some guides to markets and great food in some favorite getaway cities.

So, as we gear up to bring you inspiration from our own summer Escapes, and some good advice for your own travels, we're curious: where are you escaping to this summer? Will you stay home and create an escape there? Or are you going someplace exotic this summer?

It's not until September, but we're renting a cottage near Manzanita, OR for a week:

I am so excited; there's a nice little gas stove, so we're going shopping for food when we get there--I'm sooo looking forward to absolutely fresh seafood and some ocean time.
