We strongly believe in the power of the freezer. Some of us don't use that mysterious space above our fridge for much other than ice cream. But the freezer is such a good place for ingredients and leftovers. Properly stored, food can last for a long time and really help you out on a busy weeknight. But that's the key, right? Properly stored and clearly labeled so you don't end up with mystery bags and unintelligible Sharpie scrawl two months later. Enter the Don't Fah-Get freezer bags.
These bags have a nearly unbearably cheesy name, but the concept is solid. They are pre-printed with almost all the info you'd want on a freezer bag: date, contents, and a blank space for reheating or recipe instructions. We think this is a great idea, and when we get around to freezing some of our garden's bounty at the end of the summer, we may buy a few of these to help keep our shredded zucchini and tomato pulp straight.
• More information: Don't Fah-Get Freezer Bags, $6.49 for 30 freezer-size bags. Many more sizes available.

$6.49? I think regular freezer bags, which cost less than half that, plus a Sharpie work just fine to label the date and item. Putting cooking instructions on the bag seems cumbersome (unless you're leaving it for someone else, in which case, you can just stick a note on the freezer door).

yeah, that seems a little ridiculous and overpriced. I use a label maker because I'm a neat freak (I only put the contents and number of servings), but a sharpie and a cheapo bad would work just as well....

Ye gods. What's wrong with a heavy glass airtight container and a note on the door? Infinitely reusable unless you have the bad luck to drop it, and you're not creating all that waste.

Glass in the freezer?

Sure. I've got plenty of glass containers in my freezer, and I've never had a problem. You just have to leave a little room at the top for expansion of the contents. Snapware works because it's heavy, but so do plain old canning jars.

I agree you with yoy guys a little pricey, but to be honest I have order some and there is nothing on the market like it to me fantastic and smart. I think it is worth it for three reason. One you never know how much ways it make sense until you actually have it in your kitchen. Two the health pluses, it helps the husband and kids out alot when I go on my mini vacations with the girls. They know when, how and at what time to use the things left for them. Third and most important to me how many things that we buy for the kitchen and never actually use. This will be used for sure in some fashion I promise you that. Wow I almost sound like a sales rep maybe I can can work for them in exchange for the products.
By the way I seen something else they are offering anyone see this https://www.labelyourleftovers.com/. Looks cute and something that can be used.
I am going to do some research on all there products some of them look clever.
