We just got a tip from Florida about a great new knife sharpening service in the Tampa area called Top Chef Tools.
There are two arms to this business. The first is sales of restaurant kitchen equipment, chef tools, small wares, cutlery, uniforms and supplies. The second component is a professional mobile knife sharpening services.

They came to my home and sharpened my knifes. Great service and a Great edge to my global knives.
Daniel was such a great help and so knowledgable. Not only did he give me great prices but provided me with excellent services. His selection of knives were incredible and his sharpening services are impecable. I highly reccomend his services and proffesionlism to anyone who are looking for expertise in his field.

I wasn't so lucky to have the truck come out just to sharpen my knives because I live way out in Lutz, but the Owner told me that If I made a Party out of it and invited my neighbors, he would be glad to travel to my area.
We had the best time, made a happy hour driveway party out of it, and some of our neighbors brought snacks and beverages. It was nice to catch up with old neighbors and meet some new ones. The Top Chef Tools Guy even brought a sign out for the entry to our neighborhood, so the turnout was great! Our knives are as sharp as can be....(and he even sharpened my knives for free for hosting!)
We have alot of cooking fanatics on our street, and they found some great stuff like Microplanes, garnishing tools and Mandolines for much less than the retail stores!
We had such a good time, we wonder when our knives will need sharpening again!
