On the Delicious Links menu today: warm, cozy, easy comfort food. Tomatoes with rice, gingerbread cake baked with pears, sausage with lentils. Oh, and a really cool wine decanter.

• Dark Gingerbread Pear Cake at Caviar and Codfish. We cannot even describe how much we want to bake this over the weekend.
• Petit Coeur / Little Heart - Wine glass or carafe by Etienne Meneau. (via design*sponge)
• Luisa Weiss’s Tomatoes Filled with Rice - At Orangette. We don't like things-filled-with-rice much, but Molly makes us want to believe.
• Warm sausage and lentil salad - One dish dinner!
Oh, that gingerbread... Must go buy pears...

While i do like the Petit Coeur, it costs several hundred times the amount of the wine I would be pouring into it. Very pretty, though.
The lentil & sausage salad looks really good!

That lentil/sausage combo looks a bit like a favorite Nigella recipe...hers involved a bit of wine and some garlic and anchovy fillets melded into the oil before dumping in the lentils and broth. The sausages were pan fried (no extra fat) separately then laid atop the lentils for the last bit of cooking. Insanely good, but kind of on the fatty side for regular consumption.
