The breadbin is 2001 Space Oddessey meets a sow bug. I didn't think armadillo at first.

I recently bought a jar of those very same cornichons (LOVE. CORNICHONS!) and was very pleased with the handy jar design -- genius.

I just use chopsticks to get stuff out of jars. No special equipment necessary.
