I can't $^&&*%&* believe Gordon %^&*(&* Ramsey could be so %&*%%!*%$!!! What a %$%^$%! failure! He should be %^&*% ashamed of himself. Sorry, just saw Hell's Kitchen.

Art, that's too funny. :)

Frankly, I'm surprised that this story has made a splash at all. It's not such a big deal that Mr. Hell's Kitchen didn't actually catch the fish on his own. In fact, the pre-fishing looks to me like the prep work that happens as part of most food/ cooking/ travel shows. Can it be possible that we think TV hosts actually dice their own veggies?

I don't think much of Hell's Kitchen but the show that he's got on BBC where goes to pull failing restaurant's out of the sh&*'s is pretty fun. On BBC they only bleep out about half as many words.

I don't understand why it matters?
If I saw Paula Deen or Giada getting off a boat, I would never assume they caught the whole string of fish. I would assume that they were caught while she was out on the boat, not that she physically reeled them in and lined em up.
Just because Gordon is a guy doesn't mean he's a fisherman deep down somewhere. It just means he won't squeal when he has to bait the hook.

In the UK this is a follow-on story after complaints that the a documentary on the queen was falsely edited to make her entrance into the room appear she had stormed out of an Annie Leibovitz photo session. Also revelations that the BBC and other TV co's fake competitions. Thus it becomes part of an ongoing look at "fakery" in TV. I'm not sure it would have merited such coverage in its own right.

And I don't know anyone who cares whether he caught the fish or not either...
