I must be too old. We always wrote on our refrigerator (phone was right next to it) until this last one with textured surfaces. As long as you use a dry erase pen or one of those pens for writing on overhead projector slides, it comes right off without leaving any ink "shadows."

What will they think of next?

Speaking of which, am I the only one who hates those textured surfaces? They're supposed to keep fingerprints off (or something) but I find it impossible to clean if you get something greasy or sticky on them. PLEASE bring back enameled appliance surfaces!

I wrote on my fridge too with a dry erase marker, but since the paint wasn't really designed for that, I found that it was hard to get the dry erase marker completely off. Took a bit of cleaner and scrubbing.

It's just as easy to buy a dry erase board with magnets and stick it to your fridge though. :)

I've always wanted to try a mangosteen. I hope they aren't too expensive when they finally hit stores.
