I've found oxyclean to do a brilliant job of erasing red wine stains. So much so that the spot that I cleaned on my light grey carpet is cleaner than the surrounding areas!

That pizza cutter might have a corny design with the plastic molded into a circular saw thing, but the general design is much better than the ones with the handle. You can actually apply the force easily.
