Great tip from Brownie Points on managing those sticky, drippy wide-mouth jars of molasses: transfer your molasses to a plastic squeeze bottle. Of course - brilliant! (via not martha)

Another sticky kitchen tip: when you measure out honey or molasses, coat the inside of the measuring cup with oil and the honey or molasses will pour right out!

Oh, another tip: when you need to measure crisco or some other sort of shortening, fill a measuring cup up with water and then add the shortening to the water until the cup reads the amount you wanted (so if you had 1 cup of water and needed a quarter cup shortening, add shortening until it reads 1 1/4 cups...). Saves time on clean up!
