We are crazy about pudding cakes; they are so easy and delightfully good. They usually have that self-saucing gooey bit at the bottom, and an impressively puffy top. They're homey, special, and rather unusual all at the same time. You can see a roundup of our favorite pudding cakes here.

And we also love hot toddies (aka cough syrup for grownups). They pretty much propelled me through a nasty late-winter cold.
