• Cauliflower and Feta Omelet - A twist on the classic omelet, at Gourmet.
• Jalapeño-Cheddar Scones - From Whitney in Chicago. These look spicy and comforting right now!
• Tales from a 5th-Floor Walk-Up - Part of ShelterPop's Real People Real Kitchens series.
• Hand-Carved Wood Baby Spoon - At Canadian Wood Crafts.
Going to have to try those scones!

Again, the kitchen is NOT THAT SMALL. i think this is the third time I've made that comment on this site. The apartment sure is, though, at 450 sq ft. My takeaway from the article was that the kitchen being as big as it is was a draw for the family.
A tip hidden i the photo captions: forgo a microwave. So true!

Agreed, syrupandhoney. That kitchen is three times the size of mine. Full size oven and refrigerator. Gas stove! My kitchen barely fits two people standing side by side, let alone actually cooking. Which beats apartments I've seen with minifridges and single burner stoves without ovens, so I guess it could always be worse.

Agreed, that kitchen is a pretty good size for an apartment. They have full sized drawers and lots of cabinets; I didn't have that luxury when I rented. Perhaps if they decluttered, they'd have more space.

Yup, that kitchen is palatial compared to mine too!
