I love my silicone spatulas with wooden handles. I never have to worry about leaving it sitting in the pan, because the wood doesn't get hot (even if it's resting right on the hot metal sides of the pan), and the silicone won't burn.

Oh loukoumades are amazing. I grew up in California and had them every year at a Greek festival. Just thinking about them makes me hungry...
