fascinating - I just read the article and she makes it sounds so easy! It would be a great way to store potatoes and apples, so I'm definitely going to look at trying it. thanks

I'm trying the tupperware of damp sand storage method. So far so good, except my carrots sprouted, but they were still fresher than if I left them in the fridge for the same amount of time.
