Fall Colors Contest: Colorful Kitchens

The Fall Colors Contest is going strong on our sister home sites, and we've seen some inspiring kitchens among the entries! The photo above is from Entrant #19, Teu's Antidote for Rain in San Francisco. Click through for more of our favorite kitchens from the entries.

Today is the last day our sister home sites will post initial entries from the Fall Colors Contest - after that it's on to the regional semi-finals!

Are you following the contest, and have you seen any kitchens that make you want to cook?

#13: Artsy Family's Color is for Happiness, Atlanta, Georgia

Alex and Jessica's Bold Bungalow, Venice, California

#24: Britni and Karl's Warm and Inviting Energy, St. Louis, MO - We just really like that yellow retro table.

#18: Ashley's East Coast Meets Far East, Echo Park, GA - Even a tiny rented studio can add splashes of brightness to a kitchen.

With re: to the first photo - i love the way the yellow from the countertop matches the yellow of the wall. I don't have a tile backsplash, so I think I may try doing something like this as well.

The second photo, the red and blue kitchen? Dying. Want so badly. Good example of making traditional pieces look totally modern.
