Nothing very new about that spork; it's been around at least 2 years, when I bought one for my Mr Bento.

Honestly, it works as well as a plastic fork or spoon (but you have to wipe the ends well when you want to flip, or get the food on your hands).

The knife function isn't worth much. Without an independent means of holding the food in place, the little serrations don't accomplish much that the edge of a regular fork would. But they are good at irritating your mouth when you are eating.

that spork broke pretty quickly on me. Should have just grabbed a few free sets of plastic or biodegradable spoon/fork/knife.
