Here's a rather weird new piece of design: a knife block shaped like a cat. Good for cat lovers? Or too...something. What do you think?

• Smoky Mountain Wilted Lettuce - Doesn't that just sound good? For all those new spring lettuces, a salad with bacon and hard boiled eggs.
• A knife block that's shaped like a cat - For cat lovers everywhere, or just too weird? What do you think?
• Linen Cotton Dish Towels - Great prices for linen at Linen Me.
• Cookie Cutters for Coffee Cup Cookies - Cookies that hang on the side of a teacup
I think that knife is more aimed towards cat haters.

pomme: it could be a call to arms for declawed cats - inspire them to start carrying swords.
Seriously, it does look like someone just murdered a white chocolate cat candy.

That is a really WEIRD knife block. Is anyone else weirded out by how muscular that cat is? I mean, maybe some are but you can't normally see it with all the fur. Maybe it's a sphinx?

Hehe. The cat looks like it has pecs and abs. Bizarre.
I do love the cookie cutters, though.

Is it some sort of stabbed-in-the-back metaphor? Maybe make a good gift for a frenemy?

nooooo, no stabbing the kitteh!
Also, I love the idea for those cookies, but I would just use one of my petit-fours cutters to cut a shape out of the side of another cookie. Sorry, I'm in a de-cluttering/Kitchen Cure mindset.

For those of us who grew up in the hills with people who wilted all their lettuce, NO, a wilted lettuce salad does not sound too. Blech. Please tell me that's not getting popular/trendy for restaurants, it's too disturbing. "Yes, we'd like to cook like people who ate so little lettuce that they honestly didn't know what to do with it and thus these traditions started."
